Abiu

Abiu is a sweet tropical fruit tree from South America and a relative of tiessa or canistel. The fruit skin turns to bright yellow when ripe. The pulp is white or translucent which is similar to the caimito but abiu has less latex which makes it easier to eat.

A grafted tree will bear fruit in 1 to 2 years. Seedling tree will bear fruit after 3 years from planting.
